Character Name:
Lili Bendstalk XIII (pronounced: lee-lee bend-stalk the thirteenth)
Race:
Fairy
Race Description:
too lazy to write up a description, so I copied this off of wikipedia.org
Fairies are generally described as human in appearance and having magical powers. Their origins are less clear in the folklore, being variously the dead, or some form of angel, or a species completely independent of humans or angels. Folklorists have suggested that their actual origin lies in a conquered race living in hiding, or in religious beliefs that lost currency with the advent of Christianity. These explanations are not always mutually incompatible, and they may be traceable to multiple sources.
Much of the folklore about fairies revolves about protection from their malice, by such means as cold iron (fairies don't like iron and will not go near it) or charms of rowan and herbs, or avoiding offense by shunning locations known to be theirs. In particular, folklore describes how to prevent the fairies from stealing babies and substituting changelings, and abducting older people as well.
Physical Abilities:
Lili has been considered a fairy of devilish charisma. Her dances and her voice are angelic (though her uses for them are anything but angel-like). She uses her voice to put others to sleep, and sometimes hypnotize them like a master pupeteer. She is quite too frail to use weapons, but she prides herself in the use of a bow when her Gifts fail her. Lili, like most fairies, is also able to fly.
Magical Abilities:
Lili is too much of a trickster to actually use powerful spells. She mostly casts healing spells, disappearing spells and sometimes, a spell to hypnotize animals into defending her. Although she is mostly well versed in spells of trickery (i.e. disappearing, moving fair sized objects, levitation of objects, effects on status: poison, sleep, paralysis etc.), her magic never lasts for too long. One seriously damaging spell she does know is: Earth control. (Which doesn't last very long)
Description:
IMAGE TO COME SOON!
Inventory:
Lili caries a crystal leaf to make music with. She also carries a medium sized bow and a fair amout of arrows. She wears a fox pelt around her waist where a small pouch hangs; probably herbs and small tiny shiny objects.
History:
Living in the Ravalon forest for most of her life, Lili now travels around the world, learning different types of music and dances. Though she is not as old as most fairies living in human realms, Lili is quite the little adventurer, able to withstand the trickery of humans. (Damn them and their shiny trinkets.)
Lili is a Daughter of Bendstalk. Being cursed by a fairy king thirteen dynasties past, the Bendstalk family was to never to produce a male heir unless they could produce a melody that could soothe his wrath against his family. (Never gonna happen, the king was deaf.) Thus, her family worked hard to perfect their music.
So, Lili is the thirteenth generation heir of the Bendstalks. Denying her lineage, she ran away and is now terrorizing humans and other mythical creatures.
